How Long Does It Take To Get Strep Symptoms How Long Do The Symptoms Of Strep Throat Last After Starting Antibiotics?

How long do the symptoms of strep throat last after starting antibiotics? - how long does it take to get strep symptoms

I woke up Friday morning with a sore throat in full swing. As the day progressed, I felt worse and worse. Pain ... Fever, etc. So I went to the doctor on Saturday and told me that I tested Postive for STREP. The doctor gave me a prescription for 10 days of amoxicillin. Now my question is: How long the symptoms persist after you start taking amoxicillin? I do not think I had in my life, that pain in the neck! It is so hard to swallow and could not sleep one night in two days. I transfer my fever alternating paracetamol and ibuprofen. I had three choices in order to date of amoxicillin, equivalent to one days.

Jmiah17 Hello,
Let me tell you something about throat infection caused by streptococcal bacteria. You can infect another person has the bacteria by sneezing or coughing, or even their tools to share food or drink. It often begins suddenly with a wound or the tonsils. It is very common, many patients are diagnosed with it. Try not to other streptococci. (With some of the tissue), because it spreads easily.
I'm sure you especailly often swelling of the throat, that you sometimes do not eat or swallow, or even drink makes suffer. With other symptoms such as fever and headache.

After taking antibiotics, you'll feel better in 2 to 3 days.
Now you need to take antibiotics antipyritic (fever) and pain) (pain. All of these short courses of their disease.
Complete 10 days of antibiotics (penicillin and amoxicillin) is required to ensure that we remove the infection.
If you have limited experience, there is no benefit from taking amoxicillin, tell your doctor. Then you switch to another antibiotic. Because sometimes the bacteria are resistant to antibiotics.
Amoxicillin is the dose in the rule;
if infection is mild to moderate, 500 mg orally every 12 hours or 250 mg orally every 8 hours.
If an infection is severe, 875 mg orally every 12 hours.
Ibuprofen effective against fevers of 200 to 800 mg orally every 6 to 8 hours of need.
However, follow the dosage instructions and that their doctors prescribe.

Now, what should you do?
Relaxation and not smoking.
Drink plenty of warm water. Avoid cold drinks.
You can gargle with one teaspoon of salt, in a cup of warm water.
Try the spicy soup at all.
It is not something important to use your toothbrush. Try a new buy.

I'm sorry, be patient. I do hope to see you soon.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Take care of yourself!

Gargling with warm saline solution for use in emergencies. Two days should you feel better, but is not completely healed.

Normally, it would be helpful in 48 hours. Keep in mind to complete your order. Do not stop taking antibiotics when the pain stops, because the infection has not completely disappeared. If pain persists into the third day in contact with the doctor and a stronger prescription.
