How do I move my fish and aquarium from San Diego, CA to Northern CO? - san diego tropical fish stores

We have a 30 gallon tank with tropical freshwater fish such as gouramis, tetras, a Plecostomus and GlassFish. They are well decorated and I think the tank is half empty, to get the compressed oxygen (if there is such a thing) and wrap the container in one end and put holes in it so the fish can live, but the water do not splash too. My concern is the travel time and water temperature. It's driving almost 1700 miles. Has anyone else done something similar? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help!
